this is the moment

“Being human” has been a real challenge as of late. For everybody. Each day we awake to a new crisis, personal or global. Mindfulness can help.

I share tools that enhance mental clarity, improve relationships at home and work, and relieve stress. I also love nerding out on science-backed research so you feel assured your time is well spent.

My passion is in supporting creative types, parents, teachers, and anyone who longs to be present in this “one wild and precious life," especially those who aren’t quite sure how to get there.

  • Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes, including you.

About Me:

Mindfulness Teacher, certified by University of California at Berkeley’s Greater Good Science Center, led by world-renowned mindfulness experts Jack Kornfield, Ph.D. and Tara Brach, Ph.D.

I’ve always flirted with anxiety, but a cancer scare in my early twenties left me recovering from a one-in-a-million, totally bizarre, aggressive tumor. During this time, I found comfort in mindfulness meditation and began inquiring:

  • Do I have the courage to be present for all life brings?

  • Can I find compassion for myself when everything falls apart?

  • What is my deepest intention for this one life?

Primed by a Hollywood comedy writer sensibility and years hosting a top-rated podcast, I’ve interviewed and laughed with the world’s leading mindfulness advocates, including Elizabeth Lesser, Dr. Tina Payne Bryson, Susan Stiffelman, Glennon Doyle, Jennifer Waldburger, Barry Michels, and Martha Beck. International best-selling author and Oprah’s favorite parenting expert Dr. Shefali Tsabary quoted me in her recent book A Radical Awakening about how I relate to the negative voices in my head.

I approach teaching with an open mind, light touch, and bright spirit. There is a lot out of our control. Mindfulness can help. Join me!
